Bronze Bust by David McFall of Sir Thomas Holmes Sellors

A stunning bronze. No this isn't Chirchill as many seem to think this is Sir Thomas Holmes Sellors a pioneering surgeon who's base was Harefield hospital.

David McFall was a sculptor who worked in bronze and stone. He studied at the College of Arts, Birmingham, at the Royal College of Art and at the Kennington School of Art. McFall worked with Jacob Epstein from 1944 until 1957 or 1958. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1943, was elected an Associate of the Royal Academy in 1955, and a Royal Academician in 1963.
